An earlier patch released in MLB The Show 22 gave starting and relief pitchers more stamina control while playing in three-inning games, and in Game Update 3, an additional change gives players a notice when a pitcher is at, or below, 25 percent stamina. In terms of general gameplay, several bugs have been addressed relating to the game freezing in situations where a ball lands in foul territory or when the umpire freezes after the ball reaches home plate.
